Dennis Sadlowski

President and Chief Executive Officer

As President & Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc., Dennis Sadlowski has executive responsibility for the company's strategic direction, operating performance and marketplace success. He was named President and Chief Executive Officer in July 2007. He is a member of the company's Board of Directors.

Sadlowski is responsible for all staff functions, subsidiaries and business operations including the Sales organization and seven operating divisions: Automation & Motion, Electronic Assembly Systems, Metal Technologies, Postal Automation, Power Conversion, Power Distribution & Controls, Process Solutions and Residential Products.

Following 17 years of industry experience with GE and Thomas and Betts, Dennis joined Siemens Energy and Automation in July 2000 to lead the Power Distribution Infrastructure & Controls Division as Vice President and General Manager until the end of 2003. He then relocated to Germany for a three-year leadership assignment with the Automation Sensor Business of Siemens Automation and Drives group before returning to SE&A in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Mr. Sadlowski was tasked with maintaining and ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction across all divisions of SE&A.

Sadlowski began his career with General Electric where he held positions of increasing responsibility over a 10-year period. Prior to joining Siemens, Mr. Sadlowski served as Vice President & General Manager of Thomas and Betts, a manufacturer of electrical, electronic, mechanical and utility products.

Mr. Sadlowski earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 1983. He earned an MBA from Seattle University in 1990.
