President and Chief Executive Officer, Building Technologies Division
Daryl Dulaney became President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., on January 1, 2005, and appointed to lead Siemens Industry, Inc., commencing October 1, 2009.
Dulaney leads the U.S. operations of the world’s premier provider of energy and environmental solutions, building controls and fire safety and security systems. Since his appointment, Dulaney has guided the restructuring of the company, as well as the successful implementation of cost containment and business process optimization strategies across the entire organization. Through his leadership and oversight, Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. continues to experience unprecedented revenue growth and record profitability.
Dulaney joined Siemens Building Technologies as a sales engineer in 1979, and since that time has held several key managerial positions, ranging from joint venture management in Hong Kong to senior vice president of field operations North America. Prior to his current appointment, Dulaney led the Building Automation division of Siemens Building Technologies to four consecutive years of double-digit increases in sales, profit and EVA.
Currently, Dulaney serves on the Governing Board of Gilda’s Club Chicago, a cancer support organization founded to create a healing community for all people whose lives are impacted by the disease. Dulaney is also a board member of the Siemens Foundation, which provides more than $4.5 million annually in grants and other financial support towards science, technology, engineering and math education initiatives.
Dulaney earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ohio State University and Masters in Business Administration from the J. L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has two adult children and currently resides in Long Grove, Ill., with his wife, Jan.
